Hey there, I’m CodyAnn Eccard. I work as a physician assistant helping people. I love educating and sharing medical knowledge with patients. My blog and books serve patients who want to understand the “why” behind medical decision making. I focus on mental health issues but cover some somatic issues as well.

Most days you can find me working as a Psychiatric Physician Assistant. On my days off I write, help educate patients and clients with my online courses, and play with my two children.

Before I was a PA I was a social worker. I worked in mental health at a large men’s prison. I have a unique, holistic perspective that combines health, mental health and a little snark and humor.

When I’m not busy in clinic or writing you can catch me buying and trying on new lipsticks. I also love baking cookies and making candy.
